Re: Before it is too late, by citizen Ambrose

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN.
His Excellency,
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.
Asokoro,FCT, Abuja.
RE: BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE (The Reply)
Dear President,
I wish to air my opinion on the controversial letter written to you by the former president, His Excellency,
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, issues raised in the said letter and in your reply.
I will make this letter as brief as possible, unlike the leghthy open letters.
I am pleased to inform you that I am happy and elated by your response which many Nigerians had waited patiently for. We were glad you were able to put the records straight.
There were many issues raised in the exchange between you and former president Obasanjo, but I will dwell on the accusation of fighting corruption and terrorism.
Your excellency sir, my opinion, your administration’s fight against corruption will not get the desired results if the likes of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, among others are still allowed to play active politics in Nigeria.
Also, your goverment’s fight against terrorism will be a mirage if the likes of Gen. Muhamadu Buhari (Rtd), Lai Muhammed and others still go about their normal activities unchallenged. These are fellows who had threatened that Nigeria will be ungovernnable if they should lose the 2011 election. After the election, practically everything they had threatened came to pass.
Until the two mentioned issues are resolved, the good people of Nigeria will not be happy with you and your government. In addition, the souls of the people killed during the 2011 post election violence will never rest because they crave for justice – which is quizzing Buhari for his inflammatory statements.
Yours sincerely,
Nwaogwugwu Ambrose.
