She was made to feel disdained because of neurofibromatosis.

I went for an interview at Lekki.  While we were all waiting for the interview to start,  the security man told me to hand over my CV and leave the premises.  I was shocked and surprised.

I had no issues with anybody and I tried to find out the reason they wanted me to get out,  even before the interview started.  But nobody offered any explanation.  The security man said he was told to send me out and if I didn't want to drop my CV,  that's up to me.  He just wants me to leave.  To avoid creating a scene,  I dropped my CV and left.

I never got to hear from them.  I was broken and torn apart.  What did I do to deserve this sort of humiliation and ill treatment?

I only have neurofibromatosis which causes tumor to grow on my skin.  But it is not contagious or infectious in any way.  I grew up seeing my skin this way and I felt since I do not have a beautiful skin,  at least let me work hard for myself.

I graduated with a first class degree in microbiology and right now,  I am assisting my mum in her shop because no employer wants to employ me.  Even after going through the stress of explaining the medical nature of neurofibromatosis and it's harmless nature,  people still treat me differently everywhere.  It hurts.

I just want the world to know I am a normal person and these tumors are not contagious.  These rejections have started getting to me and I can't bear it any longer.  I get on buses and people try to avoid me like a plague.  I just want to live a normal life and be happy,  is that too much to ask for?I went for an interview at Lekki.  While we were all waiting for the interview to start,  the security man told me to hand over my CV and leave the premises.  I was shocked and surprised.

OPEN LETTER TO FORMER OLUSEGUN OBASANJO.~by Kurtis Adigba

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,
Obasanjo presidential Library,
Abeokuta,
Ogun State.

Dear sir,

I’m Kurtis Adigba, a lawyer, political consultant, and a citizen of Nigeria. I’m an idoma from Benue State. My father; Samuel Ochola Adigba, was a classroom teacher, and retired as a Headmaster. My father, was some years ago, the Benue State Secretary of the National Party of Nigeria( NPN). That was the highest he attained. My mother, was a school teacher who later joined the civil service, and retired as a Head of Department of Adult Education Department of Apa Local Government Area, of Benue State. She died in 2015.

I chose to introduce myself to you upfront so you know I have no pedigree to match yours, and because I know your supporters and attack dogs will come after me, and raised questions about my pedigree. They will ask: “who is his father....who is he to dare write a letter to a former Head of State and President..”. Now you know. And hopefully, they know too!

The only pedigree that I stand on to write you today sir, is my citizenship of Nigeria, a privilege and right I share and enjoy with you. The Constitution of Nigeria, confers on us ( you and me and others)the right to free speech. You have constantly and frequently exercised that right in writing letters to our fellow citizens who happened by good fortunes to be former and present leaders of the country. Only yesterday, you penned and published a letter to President Buhari  on the state of our nation. I’m writing you this letter in the exercise of the same right- free speech.

In your open letter to President Buhari, the last in the series, you raised so many critical issues: Boko Haram, Insecurity, Poor Management of our diversity, Unity or Disunity, Economy, Poverty, and of course, the violent death of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of Pa Fasoronti, an elder statesman and leader of Afenifere, in the hands of some yet to be determined people. Some people have jumped to conclusions and prejudged the investigation into the despicable act, I have chosen to wait until investigators complete their work and inform Nigerians about their findings.

Sir, apart from the death of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, which is the trigger for the letter, there is nothing new in your new letter. Even her death, is not new in the sense that many Nigerians have been dying on that road and others, unmentioned. The only reason her death attracted your attention and that of others, is because she was the daughter of a powerful figure. After her unfortunate death sir, some Nigerians have died in similar circumstances unmentioned and unannounced, because they are ordinary citizens. As I write sir, many are suffering from the same fate.

Let me talk about the specific issues in your letter:

1. Boko Haram. The seed that germinated into Boko Haram, was planted under your Administration. It grew and became a big tree under your handpicked successors due to outright denial, mischaracterization, poor management, and corruption. It was under your government that full Sharia regime was introduced in Zamfara state. You chose to ignore it because you said it will fizzle out because of internal contradictions. It did at some point; but before then, it spread to other states with deadly consequences. One of the groups that emerged from the Sharia revolution that started in Zamfara, metamorphosed into the deadly terror group known today as Boko Haram. It is true that under your administration, Boko Haram, was an unknown group nationally, but it was under the administration of your handpicked successors, Yar’Adua and Jonathan, that Boko Haram exploded into the deadly terror group that it is today.

President Yar’Adua tried to deal with Boko Haram, but his poor health stood on his way. He died and was succeeded by president Goodluck Jonathan. It was under Jonathan that Boko Haram became the most deadly terror group in the world. They abducted over 200 girls from Chibok, killed over 100 children in Buni Yadi, carried out regular deadly attacks at Abuja and different parts of the country. President Jonathan from the onset denied and disputed the Chibok girls abduction. He said it was an orchestrated smear campaign against his person and government. It took a global outrage before he sprang into taking some tepid actions- he set up a panel to determine if the girls were indeed abducted. Sir, you wrote about the same issue in your epistle to President Jonathan. It was one of the issues you used to canvass support for the candidacy of president Buhari in 2015.

In your your previous letter to President Buhari, where you asked him to dismount from the horse of Nigeria leadership, you gave President Buhari some credits for dealing with Boko Haram and fighting corruption. You also called for more efforts in combating Boko Haram and corruption. As you know, President Buhari on assumption of office took the fight to Boko Haram. He relocated soldiers to the epicenter of the terror group’s operations. He recovered territories occupied by them, destroyed their key infrastructures, and forced them into negotiations leading to the release of some of the abducted Chibok girls. Many people hitherto unheard of, but in captivity of Boko Haram, were also set free. The government discovered massive corruption in the management of funds earmarked for procurement of equipment to prosecute the war on Boko Haram. The funds are still being recovered.

You mentioned that the government hastily declared victory against a group that is strengthening, I agree to some extent with you sir. I agree that the government oversubscribed itself when it declared that it has defeated Boko Haram.  Boko Haram, is not defeated. It has been weakened, but it is still capable of Carrying out deadly attacks given the time, resources, and opportunity. We saw them abduct over 100 hundred girls from Dapchi after their “ defeat”. All but one of the girls, have been released. Leah Sharibu, is still being held by Boko Haram because she refused to denounce her faith in Jesus Christ. She is today the highest value target because of the religious factors made worst by people playing politics with her. God in whom Leah Sharibu trust as her Saviour and protector, will keep her. She will be freed from her captors. Amen. The government made a mistake in declaring victory over Boko Haram because, Boko Haram is fighting an ideological war. Ideology cannot be defeated, it can only be overcome by superior reasoning.

But on the whole, the current government has done much more to fight Boko Haram and contain their terrorist activities than any other government. It can do more, and it will do more.

2. Insecurity in the country. I believe that in the real world, cause has effect, and actions have consequences. The insecurity of today, is the consequence of the failures of the past. I’m talking about the huge and unprecedented corruption in the management of public resources that left us with poor infrastructures, created inequality with some few very rich and many so poor, that they cannot afford the basic things of life. I’m talking about the failure to manage the crisis that arose all over the country sir. When the agitation for better allocation of resources started in the Niger Delta areas under your watch, you responded with maximum force. You sent soldiers to invade Odi under the pretext of looking for the people who killed some soldiers. Many were killed, women and girls were allegedly raped, and the community destroyed.  The people regrouped and armed themselves better. They started kidnapping expatriates and local oil workers for ransom. It became a huge business for some governors who claimed to have paid millions as ransom to free the victims. Your government did nothing to stop or prevent kidnapping, and it quickly spread round the country. what about Zaki Biam, where the invasion by the Army helped to militarized the people with deadly consequences for security in the area?

Your immediate successor, President Yar’Adua, tried to end the siege by proposing an Amnesty that was successful to some extent, but kidnapping has become a business. President Jonathan who succeeded Yar’Adua, didn’t do much in tackling kidnapping. President Buhari has made modest efforts in tackling it, but it is not enough because the governors are not playing complimentary roles. Peter Obi, former governor of Ananmbra state, fought kidnappers in the state to a standstill. Governor Obiano is doing the same thing. Lagos State, is also leading in the fight against kidnapping. Kaduna State has just enacted a law against kidnapping that prescribed death as punishment for the offense. Edo State too. Majority of the states, are not doing much sir.

Sir, you mentioned the killing of Mrs Olakunrin in your letter and described it as one death too many. In the statement you issued before then, you said her death has diminished Nigeria. I share in your sentiments and beyond sir. Her death, like the death of any Nigerian in the same or similar circumstances, is regrettable and diminishes the rest of us and the country in more than one way. But as painful and regrettable as her death is, it is not the first in the country. Under your watch as President sir, Chief Bola Ige, our nation’s Attorney General, was murdered in his home at Ibadan. The home, is supposed to be  the safest place, but Ige was killed. Up and until now, no one has been brought to justice for his killing. What about Chiefs Harry Marshall and Sekibo? Funsho Williams and others? Of the people listed here sir, only Sekibo was murdered on the road. The rest were killed in their homes. No one has been found guilty for their murders. Do you then have the moral right to pontificate on insecurity sir?

You may not know this sir, but I want to tell you that bad roads and darkness,  are also accelerators of insecurity and poverty. Bad roads ensure that motorists cannot move fast, and therefore, become vulnerable to the murderous activities of criminals. Under your watch as President, Billions of Naira were budgeted for roads, the roads were never built, but the funds disappeared. The Lagos-Benin Expressway featured in some many budgets but the funds were never utilized on the road. President Jonathan did a portion of it, and President Buhari, is working on some other parts. Your government did nothing about it. What about power? You claimed to have spent $16B on power, where is the Fower? Apologies to President Buhari. You generated megawatts of darkness with the humongous amount of money. And you don’t want us to talk about it! We can only imagine what that money would have done for the economy sir. Many of the people terrorizing the country today, may have been profitably engaged in other activities, and poverty, would have been significantly reduced.  But you failed and betrayed our trust.

3. Corruption. Where do I start here? Is it financial or political corruption? Do you know know who started corrupting our political system sir? It is you. Under your watch, we conducted the worst election in Nigeria. Figures were randomly awarded to parties and candidates. You promised it was going to be a do or die Affairs and you delivered on your promise. The major beneficiary of that election, president Yar’Adua agreed with the verdict that it was indeed a horrible event, but you went round western capitals praising the same election. Who introduced garrison command politics in Nigeria? It is you sir. You subjected Governor Rasheed Ladoja to the whims and caprices of your garrison commander, Adedibu, the late Alafin of Molete. You supported and facilitated his impeachment by a minority group in the house of assembly. And when his impeachment was overturned by the Supreme Court, you dithered in enforcing the judgment until the NBA protested against your illegality.

What about the impeachment of Peter Obi In Ananmbra state, and Dariye of Plateau State? In both cases, less than two-thirds of members of the Houses of Assembly, carried out the impeachment under your watch. Maybe we didn’t have a Constitution then sir! Under your watch, Ngige, former governor of Ananmbra state was abducted by the private of Chris Uba, Eselu of Uga, and your man Friday. You did nothing sir.

Former Speaker Ghali Na’Abba, displayed bundles and wads of Naira running into millions of Naira that you bribed law makers with to remove him. You had no convincing deniability. What about the N50M given to law makers as bribe to get them to amend the Constitution and grant you life presidency? You denied it, but your daughter has confirmed it. You were behind it. It is true that you made efforts to fight corruption by setting up the EFCC, but you undermined the fight against corruption by your own actions. Let me remind you about the mismanagement of PTDF funds by you and your new friend, Atiku. The facts were made public during your roforofo fight. In 1999, when you were freed from jail, you had barely N100k. Today, you are said to be worth Billions. How did it happen and what did you do to become so rich? But you keep pontificating on corruption and pointing at others. Your like a sign post- pointing the directions, but never going there.

4. Mismanagement of our diversity. You accused the president of mismanaging our diversity, a claim you said is responsible for the myriad of our problems today. You said the president has made lopsided appointments in favor of the North and his people, I don’t have the data, and you also did not provide any to substantiate your claim. You expressed outrage over the pattern of certain appointments and election of leaders of the National Assembly in terms of ethnic and religious balance, but you did the same thing happened under your government. You also believe like some Nigerians that only equitable distribution of public offices and positions, will guarantee Unity and imbue a sense of belonging in all, it is not true. Yes, it a good thing to do, but it does not promote Unity, and it will not guarantee unity. For a moment, let us assumed you managed our diversity well, and that you distributed equitably the opportunities available to you, why was Nigeria not United under you? Why do you keep talking about equity only with respect to the FG? Where is equity in the states, including Ogun where you are an influential and consequential figure sir? I’m not against fair and equitable distribution of opportunities, but it is no promoter of unity. It will only provide jobs and access to the few, and in most cases, not on merit, but on connection.

5. Islamization and Fulanization. With fairness to you sir, the fear of Islamization has always been with some parts of the Nigeria. You played an active part in creating it. You and your party weaponized it against President Buhari. You said he is an Islamic fundamentalist seeking power to Islamize Nigeria. Many Nigerians believed you, and still believe you, even after 4 years of the man in power. Recently in Delta state, during the Anglican Synod, you upped the ante by declaring that the president had an agenda to Islamize and fulanize Nigeria. The of event, time, and audience, was telling. You tapped into the dangerous mood of the nation arising from the activities of herdsmen to ratchet up the tensions in the land, by telling Christians that Muslims and Fulani were coming after them and their lands and religion. You have created a dangerous  and combustible Fulaniphobia in the country. It rings true to your reputation as a master schemer who can execute good and evil with equal efficiency.

Because of your actions sir, today, every criminal activity in Nigeria, is attributed to the Fulani. And I’m not saying that Fulani are not involved in criminal activities, they are in so many areas and cases, but it is not true that they are the only criminals in Nigeria. You singled them out to demonize President Buhari, who is also Fulani by tribe. Before Buhari became president, the Fulani were involved in different crimes and problems in all parts of Nigeria. After Buhari, the problems will continue if we don’t find solutions to them.  Under your government, we had Fulani crisis. Same for Yar’Adua and Jonathan. Jonathan was at some point the grand patron of Miyetti Allah. Did he fulanize Nigeria? As a leader in this country, much more is expected from you. Stop encouraging centrifugal tendencies in Nigeria. It is funny that you are suddenly against the Fulani now. You campaigned so hard for another Fulani, Atiku to be president. The same Atiku, you accused of committing the most horrible acts of corruption against Nigeria; the man you  said God will not forgive you if you support him to be president knowing what you know about him.  He is still a Fulani sir.

Finally, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my long letter. I hope and pray that you find some of my thoughts useful! Nigerians are looking up to you to join other leaders in preferring solutions to the problems of the country. They are asking you to look at Gen. Yakubu Gowan, and make him your role model. My sincere respect and regards to you sir.

God bless Nigeria.

Kurtis Adigba.

Just Between me and my yoruba friends i say this; The Yorubas are simply Igbos residing across the naija.

You know i said it first over seven years ago,  and later repeated it few years back but you never took me serious, then i prayed after including such stories/facts to my first book titled: "Odinala the divine principles of creation" that a voice may arise as a back up to that which i had written in that book. Then the Ooni of ife came and became that voice. not until then you began to give a second look and a second thought to that already proclaimed rubbish that Okechukwu has been saying.

My regrets in saying things like this or making this type of revelations is that after this now,  some igbo rifrafs will quickly copy this to their numerous hidden so called groups,  not to enlighten their followers but rather to confuse them even more. And even begin to brag of the knowledge that they know nothing about.  Everybody will suddenly become masters, and this nonsensical egocentric attitude and superiority complex will become the oder of the day. But still it won't deter me from passing the message across when the time is due.

The yorubas are amongst the 13 species of Ndi Gbo/Igbo corresponding to the 13 Zodiac signs and not 12, just as the bloody Caucasian liars said it is,  12 zodiac signs,  12 apostles of Jesus,  12 calendar months, 12 Tribes of israel...  bla bla bla!!!. That is where their vibrations stopped as the Caucasian 6 ether being. For Their is indeed the thirteenth Zodiac called the serpent holder(Man), The centre but thats a story for another day.  It is actually the symbols of the 13 ancient families/species of the Original human race aligning with each given constellations or zodiac.  Now come back we are not treating zodiac signs ok..? 😁😂😁 . So the yorubas are one of such species of ndi gbo who migrated across the big river (River Niger), your migration is in tune with the respective zodiac for indeed it is the sun (The east/Ala-Igbo) that regulates all zodiacs.  For instance when the sun passes a given region, it is called Capricorn. When it is in a given region it is called leo,  etc and Ala igbo is the over all east of the planet earth.  Harboring the zero degree longitude and latitude. Lol..!!  I don carry you enter geography oo 😂😁😂😂. Dont mind me. Now lets go back to the subject matter.

The picture bellow is that of a man whom you the Yorubas refer to as Oduduwa.  In your tales,  he came after the first messenger whom you refer to as Obatala. This very Obatala was/is the man whom you the yorubas refer to in your ancient tales as the Father and founder of the igbo nation. ( If i lie make una correct me o) in one of such your ancient tales you said obatala went back to heaven after he must have failed in the duty assigned to him, while in some other tale you said he settled, married and died later.  But in both of your incomplete tales you never told the world how Obatala founded and fathered the Igbo nation. Or does it mean the the igbo land was actually  the heaven where the said Oduduwa and obatala came from..? When did the Obatala founded and fathered the igbo nation,  was it before he was sent to earth(The yoruba land) by the said Olodumare or after..?, those questions remained unanswered till date in your ancient tales and histories.  But the most interesting thing is that till date,  the yoruba still somehow see the Obatala as the father of the Gods in the yoruba chamber of Gods, and also the father and founder of the Igbo nation (If i lie make una tell me o).

if i begin now to ask my yoruba friends to tell me the meanings of their ancient names such as Oduduwa,  Obatala,  Ile-ife,  Oramiran, igbo as seen in Ijebu igbo,  ej'Igbo  etc, you will find out that those names do not actually make complete sense in yoruba language,  reasons being that those names were never yoruba names by origin, but rather are igbo names.

OBATALA:
lets start from the first  "Obatala",  yes you are partially right that Obatala was the founder of Igbo nation,  partially because it was never the igbo that the Obatala founded but rather the igbo system of Governance. Obatala was never a person,  but rather a Chamber/Council, more like the Igbo house of Commons, or the present day senate. It is actually pronounced OBA-NTO-ALA,  oba meaning chamber or house,  Nto-ala  meaning background or foundation.  For it was the chamber of the Oba nto ala that was responsible for laying foundational structure for the leadership of the ancient civilizations. It was instituted by Eri the son of Uga. Every member of such chamber is known as Oba just as the present ones are known as senators.  After the presidency comes the senate,  and so was it that after the Eri the leader comes the Obas. The oyibos actually copied our system. So my dear yoruba friends,  Be it Oba Oramiran/Oramiyan, The one you call Oduduwa and the rest of them were all members of that council.  They were all sent across the globe by Eri to go and lay the foundational leadership structure for newer civilizations.  They did not fall from the sky like your immediate past ancestors made you to believe. They were all igbo men and their names gat real meanings in igbo language. But if you insist that they actually fell from heaven, then the igboland becomes your heaven,  for that is indeed where they were sent from.

ORAMIRAN/ORAMIYAN
Oramiran/Oramiyan, rightfully pronounced as Ora-Ama-Iro,  which means that the masses knows no enmity,  in other words that if you as a person decides to hold grudges for the masses,  you are simply wasting your time.  Its more like the market does not know that one person did not open his or her shop today.  This man was the first Oba, the leader of the first delegates of Oba-nto-ala who were sent to the yoruba land by Eri,  he did not descend from any heaven unless the yorubas then saw the igbo land as their heaven on earth..

now to the man of the moment Whom the yorubas refer to as the ODUDUWA.

ODUDUWA
The picture bellow is that of the man whom the yorubas refer to as Oduduwa.  But in reality his name Is/was never Oduduwa but rather ILE-IFE.  you know when the king, The Ooni of ife said it in a clear statement that it was the igbos who founded the Ile-Ife,  many yorubas went mad and accuse their king of drinking too much alcohol.  Some said he has actually gone mad.  But in reality the king was actually telling his people the Simple truth.  Though some uninformed Longer throat igbo Igwes took his statement as leverage To turn ile ifa to become their jerusalem where they stupidly go to beg money from ooni.  Thats why i somehow respect Igwe Chibe Uzzimba, just as i am a swagalicious Eze mmuo,  he is indeed a swagaliscious Eze obodo 😂😁😂😀, i know he cant descend that low.
ILE-IFE, Meaning "the potency of light" when pronounced rightly from the original Igbo spelling and pronunciation IRE-IFE/IRE-IHE. for indeed the man in question was a descendant of Aro,  he is from the fire nation,  The people of the sun. The rooster is their symbol,  and the crown on his head represents the rays of the sun. He is indeed the son of the sun/light (IFE/IHE) and he brought the IFE ODUDUWA(The light of leadership) to the yoruba land and the land were he settled was named after him: ILE-IFE. The full story is right there in that my first book: Odinala the divine principles of creation. But i just wanna set the records straight here.

ODUDUWA
Oduduwa was never a name of any person,  but rather was the term for a given leadership pattern and structure which was adopted by the council of Oba nto ala. Oduduwa simply means leadership,  or rather "leadership of the world" when pronounced rightly from its original Igbo context and spellings: ODUDU-UWA.  for it was this system of governance which was chosen by the council over the dictatorship or monarchical System where one man becomes the  God of the people. In the system of Oduduwa,  there is a priest,  a king,  a council or chamber And then other lower officials,  just as we currently have in yoruba land today.  Ooni being the king, Alaafin being the priest,  and other Obas and Alake being the Councils or chambers.  and then the lower officials that work with them all. That is Odudu uwa.

I remained my humble self Okechukwu Okoro , The son of Amarabuihe, Ogbaezi and Ibezimako.

The Gods are wise

MENSTRUAL CYCLE AND OVULATION PERIOD...

MENSTRUAL CYCLE
Days it takes to see another blood in the month.
If you last saw your period in June 11th and it started again on July 10th 2019 then you have 30days cycle

(count from 11 June to 10 July).

NOTE: It is erroneous to believe its 28days cycle, different women have different cycles ranging from 21-35 days.

OVULATION PERIOD:

This is time to get pregnant without stress. This is 2weeks after your period

Or 2 weeks before the next period.
Here's a simple way to calculate your ovulation (unsafe) period.

1. From the first day you see the blood of your period.

2. Pick up a calendar and count 15 days including the first day of the blood stain.

3. Mark the 15th day with a pen.

4. Mark 3 days before the 15th day, and mark 3 days after the 15th day.

5. You will notice you have 7 days marked.
These 7 days are your ovulation/fertile days also known as unsafe period.
That is if you have sex on any of these days, then you have 98% chances of being pregnant.
6. Do this every month diligently

EVERY OTHER DAY IS YOUR SAFE PERIOD.
For example:

EVERY OTHER DAY IS YOUR SAFE PERIOD.
For example:

1. If your period is 11th July, 2019

2. 15 days after the first day of the blood stain will be on 25th of this July too (2weeks after) counting from 11th.

3. 15th day is on the 25th July 2019

4. 3days before the 15th day is 22, 23, 24.

5. 3days after 25th July 2019 is 26,27,28.

6. 22-28th July (7days) is when you are ovulating. It is your fertile period.

**Don't forget that the 7 days is a reminder that sperm stays in the female body for about 7 days. Any sexual contact in between ovulation period will form something that has ears, eyes, etc.
ALSO......
If you want a baby girl, have
sex between 3 days before ovulation (22- 24th) 2017.

For a baby boy on the main ovulation day and 3 days after 25th.
...........
MAJOR SIGNS THAT YOUR OVULATION HAS BEGAN...

You don't need a doctor, just relax. After 2 weeks you may feel the following:
1. Headache.
2. High body temperature.
3. Dizziness (feeling of tiredness and sleepiness).
4. Breast tenderness/ size increases just like when you are menstruating.
5. Increased sex drive.
6. Light cramps or pain on one side of the pelvis.
7. Abdominal bloating.
8. Heightened sense of smell, taste or vision (you eat more).
9. Vagina mucus becomes slippery (if you notice, put it in between fingers...it stretches like thick catarrh or snail mucus...colorless like egg white.

The instance here is for ladies with 30 days cycle. And someone who saw her period in July 2019. If yours is 28, then it's 14 days and not 15 days.
**
If you have headache without a cause, check back to when your period started. You can drink both malt and peak milk....don't run to the pharmacist always on issues that can be naturally handled, because drugs are not always good on girls.

Or you can take only paracetamol. I just hope dis little massage has clear to all.

BENEFIT OF UNRIPE PAWPAW

Let us tell you a few words
about the benefits of unripe pawpaw itself. There
are at least seven reasons why you should
consider eating this fruit in its unripe form. This
green fruit:

Promotes wound healing;
Reduces the risk of you developing a heart
condition;
Can ease the pain during menstruation;
Increases lactation;
Reduces the signs of the skin aging;
Can be a great help in infection treatment;
Improves digestive health and many protect

Now, there is no one way to make unripe
pawpaw water, and its benefits actually depend
on the way you make it. You can use the fruit
itself, the young leaves or even the roots of the
plant to make this wonderful remedy.

For instance, unripe pawpaw soaked in water
can help with stomach ulcers, impotence, ulcer
and jaundice. To help with the first two
problems, cut up the unripe pawpaw, boil it in
water (seeds and all) and leave for two days.
After that filter out the liquid and drink half a
glass two or three times a day (two for treating
impotence, three for stomach ulcer).

To help with the other two problems, cut up the
unripe pawpaw and soak it in water for several
days. Drink half a glass of the water three times
a day in both cases.

Unripe pawpaw juice can also be beneficial for
you. Just mix it with an equal amount of honey,
and then you can put two spoons of this mix in
water and drink it 2-3 times a day to get rid of
stomachache.

If you infuse some water with yellow pawpaw
leaves and drink half a glass of this drink three
times every day, you can treat malaria or protect
your immune system against it. By squeezing
some pawpaw leaves into a glass of water, you
can create a quick relief for constipation.

The liquid from the pawpaw roots can be helpful
against cough. Just chew on the roots every three
hours to alleviate the unpleasant feeling in your
throat.

If you want to prevent the development of kidney
stones, take some pawpaw roots, boil them in
water and then strain. Mix this pawpaw root
water with some honey and drink twice a day
for a week.

As you can see, there are lots of unripe pawpaw
benefits, and pretty much every part of this fruit,
including roots and leaves, can be useful for
something. A word of warning: pawpaw should
not be consumed while it is still green during
pregnancy, or by young children. Otherwise, it
should be safe, but if you have doubts, consult
your doctor. So go out and get yourself some
unripe pawpaw to enjoy its many advantages.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR BABY'S SEX.

Sperm cells are either X or Y. The Egg cell is always X. If X-Sperm cell meets the egg(X) the baby will be a Girl (XX). If Y-Sperm cell meets the egg(X), the baby will be a Boy (XY). The Y-Sperm cells move fast but die fast (its lifespan is about 24hrs). X-Sperm cells move slowly but survive longer (up to 3-4days).

Therefore, if you have intercourse some days before ovulation, most of the Y-Sperm cells would have died leaving mostly X-Sperm cells. The chances of having a Girl is therefore higher. To increase the CHANCE of conceiving with a baby Boy, intercourse must be timed to coincide with ovulation.

ASIWAJU TINUBU'S MESSAGE.

“The world is laughing at us. We like good economy.
We want steady and constant power supply, we want jobs, we want food on our table, we desire good infrastructure and security but at the same time could not exercise patience for a willing government that is sincerely laying the foundation for all these to happen.
They brainwashed you with "hunger in the land" slogan.
They said 20million Nigerians lost jobs.
Majority of those people who they said they lost their jobs were construction company workers whose contract monies were diverted and could not continue as at the time PMB took over.
With resumption of roads construction, rail construction, 2nd Niger Bridge, why are they not sincere to tell us how many Nigerians have been engaged?
They tell us bankers lost jobs, who liquidated those banks?
Did PMB or Osinbajo take loan from these banks?
Who killed Cooperative bank?
Who killed Societè Generale?
Who killed Enterprise bank?
Who killed Intercontinental? Who killed Skye bank?
Some of them took loans ranging from N10billion and above and refused to pay back.
The banks folded up and you hear them shamelessly saying Buhari made Nigerians lose their jobs.
Since inception Buhari didn't sack anybody.
In fact he employed more graduates and junior level officers into the civil/public service.
He didn't owe salary.
By 28 of every month all federal workers receive salaries.
Because you are not well informed you sink their lies. They say Buhari plan to Islamize Nigeria. How possible? Even Military government cannot dare it. Nigeria is a secular State. They use our Christian leaders to brainwash us because we have no sense of history.
In 1999-2001 you recall the religious riot in kaduna.
I was in Kaduna then, many Christians were massacred. Obj was president then. Between 2000-2007 you recall the Fulani herders -farmers/locals crises in plateau State that led to declaration of state of emergency in plateau State.
Who was president then? Obj and not PMB.
Do you know that in Benue State farmer -fulani herdsmen had been at each other's throat since the military era? These kind of unhealthy political intrigues can only thrive in Nigeria where people have no sense of history or some people just want to deceive themselves.
Those who plunged us into the den of hunger, job loss, darkness, decay infrastructure, insecurity and poor education are posing as messiah, they killed our university system for their own to thrive .
It is only in Nigeria where a sitting president and his vice would approve for themselves, while in office, the licence to build universities. It is only in Nigeria where a president would abandon construction of National library and build multi billion naira presidential library in his hilltop mansion and the youths whose future is mortgaged will be clapping for them.
Resources that are meant for all were carted away yet you are here crucifying a man that is 'righting the wrongs' haba!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA”

FUTO graduate drowns in Imo hotel’s swimming pool

A graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, drowned on Saturday in a swimming pool in one of the hotels near the institution.

1966: ASSASSINATION OF ALHAJI (SIR) ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA

ALHAJI (SIR) ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA

“Who’s there?” A voice queried from inside. However, Ifeajuna replied by kicking the doors open with his boots.

“You’re under arrest sir,” Ifeajuna said, pointing his gun at the Prime Minister, who looked startled. “Get up sir, we don’t have a lot of time.”

“Alright,” the Prime Minister replied gently, “allow me to dress up.”

He put on a white flowing robe with white trousers, a pair of slippers and his prayer beads. Without fear and a disciplined face, he trudged out of the room and the residence gently as Ifeajuna and his soldiers accompanied him with pointed guns.

When they reached the parked vehicles, Ezedigbo had arrested the Finance Minister, Chief Okotie-Eboh, and had tossed him like a bag of groundnuts into the back of the 3-Ton truck while the Prime Minister was assisted into the backseat of Ifeajuna’s luxurious car, a red Mercedes Benz, as the convoy drove off to the rendezvous.

Some few kilometers to their rendezvous, the Prime Minister became restless and was muttering to himself as he rattled his prayer beads. Okafor hinted Ifeajuna of the situation who quickly slammed the brakes and came out of the car.

“Are you alright sir?” Ifeajuna asked the Prime Minister as he opened the side door. “Or would you like some fresh air?”

To Tafawa-Balewa, it was a rhetorical question and the decision to answer or not rested on him. Without answering the Major, he gently alighted from the car and ambled towards the darkness as Ifeajuna watched anxiously, oblivious to what the Prime Minister was up to.

Then from a slow walk, to a pace and a sprint, the Prime Minister dashed for the darkness. Ifeajuna did not bother to pursue. Quickly, he grabbed his gun from the car, cocked it and aimed for the fleeing Prime Minister whose white outfit contrasted the darkness and conspicuously gave him away.

The “revolution” had failed and the Prime Minister had become a liability to their movement anyway. The Major shot sporadically at the fleeing figure sending the tranquility of the darkness to a bustle of gunfire like the crackle of burning dried leaves.

Tafawa-Balewa fell as Ifeajuna stared in horror at the darkness whether he got his target. The Golden Voice of Africa had been silenced.

Quickly, he moved towards the still body of the Prime Minister and after confirming he was dead, dragged him to a tree trunk and rested the body in a seating position with his clothing still intact.

Then he and Okafor brought out Largema’s corpse from the boot of the car and laid it down beside Tafawa-Balewa’s body. Having realised the coup had failed on their part, they sped, en route Abeokuta-Sagamu, towards Enugu in the East, which was nearly 450 kilometres away.

ANOTHER SIDE OF OUR HISTORY.

The youths need to know !!!. Most especially igbos brothers in South West Nigeria.
R-L : Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello

Let us go down memory lane
Someone said "Fulani is Yoruba's number one enemy and that the British handed over Nigeria to them."

This is not the truth.
The British did not hand over Nigeria to the Fulani.

Parliamentary elections were held in Nigeria on 12 December 1959. The result was a hung parliament with no clear majority to form a government.

Zik's National Council of Nigeria and Cameroons (NCNC), came first with 2,594,577 votes to get 81 seats.

Awolowo's Action Group (AG), came second with 1,992,364 votes to get 73 seats.

However, the Ahmadu Bello's Northern People's Congress (NPC), came a distant third with 1,922,179 votes to get 134 of the 312 seats in the House of Representatives despite getting less public votes.

The above three major political parties in the election did not get enough number of the seats to form a government. An alliance had to be formed to determine who would rule.

It was a no brainer that Zik's NCNC and Awolowo's Action Group should make a coalition government as they came first and second respectively.

Awolowo, then humbled himself and volunteered to be a Deputy Prime Minister or Finance Minister in a coalition government with Zik as the Prime Minister. This was because the Zik's NCNC party had more public votes and seats than the Awolowo's Action Group.

Zik invited Awolowo’s team to Asaba, the gateway between the Yoruba's Western Region and the Igbo's Eastern Region to hold coalition talks. The talks were a clever ruse to keep Action Group’s hopes high, so that Action Group would be kept distracted from meeting with other minor parties for talks, including: Northern Elements Progressive Union with 8 seats; Mobolaje Grand Alliance with 6 seats; Igala Union with 4 seats; Independents Candidates with 4 seats; Igbira Tribal Union with 4 seats and the Niger Delta Congress with 1 seat.

Whilst the Action Group team was waiting in Asaba for a meeting with the NCNC, they read in the news that Zik and the NCNC had gone up North and clinched the deal with Ahmadu Bello on forming a coalition government with the NPC.

Tafawa Balewa, a Fulani, would be the Prime Minister of Nigeria while Zik would be the figure head Governor-General. Even Nkrumah of Ghana was shocked. He asked Zik why having spent so much energy fighting for colonial emancipation and then settling for a toothless bulldog role when Nigeria needed him the most.

Zik wrote in his autobiography why he did not form a coalition government with Awolowo.

In 1947, with over £13,500 raised from the Yoruba people and given to the NCNC, Zik had led other six prominent NCNC delegates to London to protest the “obnoxious laws” of Governor Arthur Richards. The trip ended in failure with backbiting, abuses and accusation of theft against Zik. Zik’s opponents at the NCNC, accused him of squandering the money and the trust of Nigerians.

Zik replied insinuating that the Yoruba on the team, that are: Mrs. Fumilayo Ransome-Kuti, Prince Adeleke Adedoyin, and Dr. A. B. Olorunnimbe, were the problem.

There erupted a heated and prolonged press war between Zik’s Political Reminiscence in his West African Pilot and H.O. Davies’ Political Panorama in the Daily Service. This led to Igbo in Lagos rushing to buy machetes in large numbers thinking a tribal war was imminent.

The Governor and his General Secretary, Hugh Foot, quickly called Zik and H.O. Davies to order at the Government House.

Zik went away with the resolve that “the Yoruba must not be allowed to rule over others in Nigeria”.

And afterwards in the Daily Service published the speech of Zik in 1949 about Igbo being destined by God to conquer and rule over others. This among others, will explain why Zik rejected Awolowo's offer of a coalition government in 1959 and instead worked with the Fulani.

The Fulani had been reading Zik and the Igbo through the lens of his 1949 speech ever since.

The Fulani way of neutralising Zik when the opportunity came in 1959 was to offer him a powerless post, which surprisingly Zik and the NCNC dutifully accepted in place of being Nigeria’s first Prime Minister.

Zik had thought that the Igbo can easily manipulate the Fulani in place of the educated Yoruba. He thus manipulated Balewa to arrest Awolowo in 1962 and to have him jailed for 10 years in 1963.

Zik also manipulated Balewa to remove from the Western Region the Edo, Urhobo, Itsekiri and Western Ijaw that account for 70% of the oil wealth in Nigeria and created for them the Mid-West Region.

Zik's hatred for the Yoruba gave the Fulani the impetus to rule over others in Nigeria.

The Igbo coup plotters tried to undo Zik's mistake in 1966. And unfortunately, they killed other tribes and left theirs, which resulted in the civil war.

Britain did not really hand over Nigeria to the Fulani. Nigeria was given over to the Fulani by the Igbo.

However, to hold on to power in Nigeria, the Fulani enlisted the backing of the self-serving career politicians in England.

Not many Igbo especially the young ones know this narrative. I don’t think the Yorubas, even their elders remember this. Has the leopard changed its spots? Yoruba Ronu!!!!
Good day . Barrister RFJ.

NB: point of correction, NCNC was formed and funded by Herbert Adeyinka Macaulay. He handed the mantle of leadership over to Zik at a crucial stage. it's more reason the party won more votes coz it cut across all the regions. Educated and prominent Yoruba elites at the time belongs to McCauley NCNC such Ransome-Kuti, MKO grew up with NCNC.
My own observation.

Sixteen Notes on how to end a Life – by Akachi Chukwuemeka the 400 UNN that committed suicide.

After reading this poem you realize the guy love dying.

Veins are kite strings we can only cut free —Andrea Gibson
16.
I thought I would never write this story.
15.
I’m trying.
14.
“Sir, when was the last time you thought of killing yourself?”
“Now”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“Can we reschedule?”
13.
Today I came home with a belly drenched in litres of petrol I forced down my throat. This story will never end, but it does have a beginning.
 *
My depression eats me patiently and washes me down with the sound of the silence in my bedroom. This is how I learn that when you stretch your body to occupy spaces, it weaves itself into a form of its own, another excuse to feel smaller each time you climb into your bed.
12.
On the bus, the woman next to me didn’t seem to notice I probably wouldn’t be alive in the next thirty minutes. I thought when you want to kill yourself, you will be visibly marked. Everyone would notice. The driver waved me into his bus, after asking me my location, as if the petrol sitting in my stomach wasn’t enough to fuel his car all the way to the nearest cemetery.
I didn’t tell him. Instead, I asked him to stop me at the Catholic Cathedral, I should find a therapist there. I thought he would see the sign. He is marked, the sign should say. Nobody saw it. I was dizzy and everything was becoming fuzzy. How could they not see that? God should have sent somebody. He/she/they should have stopped me. What kind of god lets a human-time-bomb, forged in litres of petrol, liquid fire, to walk into a bus and sit next to a woman thinking of dinner?
 11.
“Breathe. Breathe. I hope the couch is comfortable?”
“Should I turn off the air conditioner?”
“Why did you want to kill yourself?”
 “Can you hear me, Sir?”
10.
The church is the earliest memory I have of my childhood. Mum made us go to all the bible study sessions in the children’s ministry. In Wukari, Taraba state, where I grew up, the children’s ministry was much organised. There were series of classes that you had to pass through and they actually took exams.
I don’t remember anything from those classes. Sunday school. Evening bible study. Monday classes. None. Maybe I was just too young.
I remember the black fruit we plucked after services. My elder sister and my cousin. I don’t remember how we are related. I remember the pimples on my cousin’s face and how I stared at them whenever she bent to pick out fruits. They always seemed to be rotten by the time they fell. All I remember about my sister is the cheerful-coloured gowns she wore, with a hat to match each one. It was 2003 or so and I don’t know how old I was. I wasn’t up to six years old. I remember it in showers. Light showers.
9.
“Would you say that your childhood was pleasant?”
“Why are you smiling? So it was pleasant then?”
(Laughter)
 *
Growing up, I was taught how to laugh in-between the lines, in monosyllables that come off neat and harmless. Nobody taught me how to envy my skin or write love letters to myself or peace. I learnt everything I was taught I had to or I wouldn’t move to the next class
8.
I don’t remember saying much. In church, at home. I say a little at school. I just remember being at those places. Not a single sentence. I was everywhere I was supposed to be, rather, my mum thought I was supposed to be, without leaving a trace. After the children’s Sunday services, we had to wait for the adults to dismiss. That is the only memory I have of the church. It was like floating in and out of places.
Children running around, climbing cashew trees, picking rotten mangoes, tasting them, spitting them out, crying, letting themselves be consoled, wiping the tears, starting all over again. It was all like a silent movie to me. Only, I was in the cast. I ran, cried, did everything and never said anything. I wasn’t a quiet boy, I was just mute.
7.
“Any memories you might want to share with me?”
“Are you happy, Sir?”
 “Let me help you?”
6.
Onyinye. She was much older than I was, but she still, somehow, winded up beside me the whole time. We were together the way an ocean clings to a sinking ship. Once, she suggested we played father and mother, and then chose to be father. I remember her lying on the pew, where bibles were dropped in the children session, smiling down at me. Me: an abandoned child in a war zone, lying on the seat of the same pew, staring at this girl, who seemed to be just happy, lying there, saying nothing. I remember my ‘cousin’ calling to take me home.
I don’t remember saying goodbye.

You know, moths have no choice than to flirt with flames. When the flames bite their wings, they call it exercise and apply first aid. It’s their destiny.
5.
The first time I ever thought of killing myself was in Nsukka.
I wanted pass any sharp thing through my body.
Dad stayed in Nsukka, Enugu state, alone. Whenever he visited, he would bring bread — even though mum sold bread at our store — and most importantly, avocados. Those were scarce in the north. Bread and avocado was his favourite too. At that time, one of them was sold for #50. My mother couldn’t sell avocados in our shop because our neighbour already did. The northerners didn’t ask for it anyway. Our shop was the first in a row of shops owned by Igbo people. Selling avocado would have been a waste of money. Only the Igbos who lived in our street, Akata Street, bought them and every other shop in that row sold it.
I remembered my dad for avocados and hard luck.
Each time he came, something bad happened to me. One night, my elder sister urinated in my bathing water and my mum made me use it. My sister had beaten me while we were alone at home. I don’t really know why she did that. I managed to run the few blocks it took to reach the shop. I cried so hard that my father got me a bottle of Sprite, and handed me some slices of bread. At night, my sister struck. My mother didn’t believe me. Maybe, she felt I was just being mischievous, and made me bathe with the water.  I remember crying. I remember the water and my sister’s urine washing the tears in joint mockery. Something bad happens whenever my father comes back, but I still wanted him to. Avocados.
No one asked if I wanted to move or not.
Perhaps I was just too young.
I don’t even remember packing my bags. But I remember the journey. I was sitting on my father’s lap in the seat closest to the window. We: my mom, sister, cousin and I used to visit my dad in Nsukka from time to time, but that was all it was, visits. I had already made home out of a strange land. My sister would have slapped me if she heard me call Wukari my home. This time, I was supposed to stay in Nsukka for a longer time. Maybe forever. I’m not sure how I felt about that. I hummed the few Hausa songs I learnt till I got tired.
And then forgot, all of them.
*
Memories are lonely horse riders. They never stay too long in a new town. They are always on the road. I’m learning to love them without getting committed.
4.
When I held the knife in our bedroom in Nsukka, I was standing next to the red cupboard that had cracked glasses. My father kept a couple of fancy ceramics we never used there, right next to the kitchen knife.
It was on a Sunday morning.
I had chicken pox and my dad rubbed a white lotion all over my body.
Onyinye could be playing in a church, thousands of miles away. She could still be lying on that pew, saying nothing, smiling down at a different boy this time.
Maybe, I was the sinking ship the ocean was trying to hold on to.
When I forgot the Hausa songs we sang on the playground, I forgot faces too. I no longer remembered what she looked like. The only recurrent memory I had of her was a Gif file: a girl lying on a church pew, and a boy staring at her. Blankly. Not knowing what it means for a girl that age to climb a pew for him.
The blade was sharp. I had watched my dad cut onions and peel avocadoes with it. I pointed it to my stomach in one slow movement and watched the tip flirt with my shirt buttons. I felt that if I died, all the people in the children’s ministry would have to attend. I didn’t win all those bible quizzes for nothing. All the teachers knew me. I had even seen the coordinator several times, talking to my mother after services. Onyinye would come. Everyone would come.
I couldn’t get through with it each time. I always let the knife dance around my shirt for a while before I put it back.
I repeated it every day. I can’t remember when I stopped trying, but I remember not telling anyone, including myself. That was the first time.
3.
“Son, why then did you come all this way to this place if you will not speak to me?”
“Please say something, you have been mute since you asked for a reschedule?”
“Are you sure you don’t need a priest instead, because I’m just a therapist?”
“Ok, let’s reschedule. Thanks for coming”
(Door closes)
*
I give my body options and it always chooses to baptize itself in seas because they say salt are water made flesh. But the salt my body chooses is an abusive lover who changes its taste so when I look in the mirror I tell myself that I need a new one and the only way to wear a new body is to die and when I say I die every day, it’s not a decision, it’s just my nature
2.
I‘m marked. The man in charge of the universe shouldn’t let living ghosts like me roam his planet. There was no reason for drinking the petrol. The only difference between today and the days I stood next to the red cupboard, knife in hand, is that I’m twenty. I am a final year student of a university in Nigeria, who is more interested in finding more ways to end his life, than actually living it.
When I woke up this morning, I didn’t know I would try to end my life again. A rainbow can never wash off his colours. He will never be clean. I just walked into a filling station and asked for two litres of petrol. The attendant looked at me like I just walked out of the sky. I got the point and crossed the road to buy two nylons. She glanced furtively at me as the nozzle spat fuel. She was handing me my funeral clothes. Inadvertently.
No one could see the mark.
Every time I walk out of my bedroom I am aware that I’m an unforgiveable sin. People like me shouldn’t be allowed to walk free with all the monsters our depression carves into our brains. The attendant watched a sin walk free and did nothing about it. My mother, well, she will certainly cry.
My sister never cries.
She might just knit silently for two months till the grief slips through her needle. My father would just grunt for a week and go back to peeling avocadoes, with the same kitchen knife that flirted with my shirt buttons.
My memory will never stick.
I pity the therapists I have visited over the years. I never spoke to any of them. A moth will always dance to flames. I tried petrol because kerosene didn’t work out the last time. I threw up in my bedroom and the whole plan was gone. I was in second year then. Death is a safe pair of hands whispering my name, and I draw closer every day. A mere therapist’s questions can’t make me betray his trust.
No bride leaves death at the altar.
At twenty, there is not much difference between now, and the night my sister peed in my bathing water. I’m still the boy who doesn’t know how to shout at bullies. Who still falls for every girl in the playground (she doesn’t even have to lie on a pew). Who still floats into spaces without occupying them. Who leaves no traces. Who is mute. My bed feels smaller each time I lie on it. The boy never grew up.
Life still pees in every bucket of water I use. My bathroom walls look on helplessly as the liquid mockery trickles into my mouth. My bathing water is always warm.
Why can’t anyone see my mark? I never belonged here. I’m still too young to understand anything. The boy that watched a kitchen knife flirt with his buttons and said nothing still lives here. For some reason, the knife has not stopped flirting with me.
We are in a long term relationship now.
I lie on the bed and let the rumble in my stomach continue. This is going to be the last attempt. This will be a long night. It has been an hour since I left the therapist’s office, and I’m spoon-feeding this story to my journal. No one holds my pain more than he does. When I fall asleep, I’m never going to wake up again.
I am ready to dream myself into a shiny casket.
This is the longest story I have ever written.
Goodnight therapist, filling station attendant, driver, woman on the bus, sister, cousin, mum, dad, Onyinye. I forgive you. I’m the sin here. I’m unforgiveable.
1.
I wake up. Again.
